beretta handguns

So I took my Beretta PX4 Storm to the range for the second time today and I figured I'd post my results here for you guys to see. This is a 9mm and I.The Beretta 9000S was Beretta's first real attempt at a concealed carry pistol for the US market. While it was a successful handgun, finding gun holsters for this pistol can be difficult.I love my glock, my friend just got the PX4. How do they compare??I shoot 9mm - Glock and Beretta - practice often and feel very confident about my skill. I watch many folks at the range with .40 & .45 who bang away but can't hit the broad side of the barn, regardless of range. ...We carry Beretta handguns and sharing magazines is an inspiration. Loadout is simple and clean. Being a lefty, I enjoy the ambidextrous nature of this rifle - easy to change, even for a novice. Just be careful to get the ejection port ...I just purchased a Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm Model F the other week and I am really excited about this handgun! I took it to the range the same day that I.ACP: -0 Base Def Dex Equip Size Misc Total Defense: 10 +3 +3 +0 +0 +0 16 Touch: 16 Flatfooted: 13 Base Mod Misc Total Fort: 0 +1 +1 Ref: 1 +3 +4 Will: 0 +0 +2 Weapon Attack Damage Crit Range Mag Beretta 92F +3 2d6 20 40 15 box 92F x2: +1/+1 2d6/2d6 20 ... Rather, her dealings with pawnshops usually leave her with just enough cash for rent. Sophie's criminal career has usually been nonviolent, but she carries a stungun for safety and (illegally) a handgun for emergencies. ...The handguns were described as a Bersa, Model 380 ACP, serial # 905987 valued at $500.00, a Taurus Model PT99, 9mm, serial # L34735, valued at $500.00, a Beretta Model 22LR, serial # 948-05545 valued at $500.00 and a Beretta Model 3032 ...I finally got to the range with my Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm and ran some rounds through it. I ran 2 full magazines of 15 rounds at each target and went.I have a Beretta CX4 with case, cleaning kit, top rail, forward pistol grip rail, forward pistol grip, side rails, 2 UTG rail covers, 2 17rd PX4 .40 mags. Looking to trade for HK Handgun or AR15 but feel free to give me your offer. ...
Residents of a Burlingame, California neighborhood were exasperated to learn that Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Jackson would again take his Beretta 92FS 9MM handgun out trick or treating on Halloween night.

“He does this every year,” said Jackson’s neighbor, Wanda Myers. “I keep telling him that the candy is FREE. He doesn’t need to wave a gun in my face to get a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.”

I'm looking into getting the barrel of my 92fs beretta threaded to hold a silencer. Is the accuracy of the gun affected after the barrel is threaded and the silencer is not attached? I'm thinking about getting a separate barrel if so.

I own 2 handguns and a shot gun

9mm Beretta
.40 Kimber
12 gage shotgun.

Hey the constitution gives us the right to bare arms, so why not enjoy that right.

I heard that the U.S. military is thinking about changing over their M-16 families for something else. Same with handguns, like I heard that instead of issuing the normal Beretta (M9), they might start giving out Sig Sauer's. If I said anything incorrect, well, just ignore it and try to answer the overall question. Thanks

Sig P229 .40
Glock G21
.357 S&W Magnum
Glock 27
Glock 32 .357
Para 1911 .45
Browning Hi-Power 9mm
Walther P22
HK Usp.45
Beretta 8000 Cougar

these are part of my 'toys' but i can only put 3 guns on my license.
Help, please.

I am very interested in World war two handguns, I've been able to find a bunch of fun faces on the Beretta M 1934 but dose anyone know if it's double action?

So I have never shot a gun before. I am moving to downtown kansas city because I wanna be closer to the night life. However, as in most big cities, downtown is a somewhat shady spot. My brother and I were wanting to get a handgun, either a beretta or a glock, and a shotgun, either a charles daly or winchester. We're gonna go get our conceal and carry license and hit the shooting range. What recommendations would you make?

Serious answers only please

Thank you
I am a middle school teacher, so i understand the importance of safety and education. We're not moving til Dec. so over the next 2 months we plan on going to the range and learning how to use them correctly.

I have a M90 Beretta spring handgun. Unfortunately it is broken. The problem is that the top of the gun was pulled back too far I think. Now, the top of it (sorry I don't know what the 'top' of it is called :P) is stuck back. It won't go back to where it should be. For example: before, the top reached all the way to where the end of the barrel was. Now, it sticks back about 1 inch away from it. It seemed like a preyty simple problem to fix, so I set to unscrewing the thing to get it unstuck. But I can't find any of the damn screws!!? Does it even come apart? It doesn't appear to be a handgun that splits in half, like many common plastic toys. I can only find some screws that allow me to take off the hand rest things on the side of the handle. Anyone know how I can get this thing unstuck so it will work again?

Also, this may not be why the bullets are not firing. As far as I can tell, the bullets load fine from the magazine, but they don't shoot out of the gun. When I release the magazine, the bullets fall out. Maybe it IS the magazine leaking. But I don't see how. . I still think it has something to do with the damn top part of the gun being stuck back an inch. Please Help? :)

Btw the gun is like a clear, see-through design. It has black hand rests. Just in case there are different versions of the beretta. :P

Ok, I am sure you see alot of questions on the perfect weapon for home defense.

I am considering getting a handgun for my wife, and teaching her how to use it. so she can have some peace of mind when I am away from home working.

I currently use a cheap 9mm that jams every 2nd round fired. It is old, it is tired. So I am thinking of buying something along the lines of a .40 cal. Possibly a Beretta.

Anyone out there have any good advice on a weapon that is easy for a woman to use , has stopping power but will not leave the house in the event she ever has to use it and misses the "drop zone"?

I have taught her how to use my rifle, but it is extremely high power and if a stray bullet went out of the house there is no telling where it would end up.

Thanks in advance for your answers...all I am looking for is some advice. I know what has good stopping power for someone who is comfy with firearms..i just need to know what would be good for a woman.
Thank you guys, some very thoughtful answers coming up here.

I'm Collecting advice on the best handgun ammo for a .40 cal pistol. so far i've been told 155 Hydra-shoks.

Using beretta px4 .40 cal

I'm not sure which handgun I should buy next. A 1911 .45, a 1911 10mm, or a beretta 92fs.

Suggestions?
I suppose I should have added more info. I reload, so getting 10mm wont be a problem. I own a springfield xd45 already.

which is the most reliable, easy to (clean, operate) best safety features. I want a 9mm. (Glock, Smith & Wesson, Beretta, Sig, ............). Personal experiences??

i want a gun mostly for practice.
Not to big & not to small
Also i like the tactical look
I was looking at:
S&W M&P
H&K P2000
Beretta 90two
Beretta PX4 Storm

I know its a personal choice but i was just wondering if one was better then the other, or if there is an even better handgun then i listed.

I prefer 9mm .45 is ok but no dumb shit about .50 desert eagles.
Thanks everone! This is helping alot! Also i just wanted to mention im not new to any guns. I have shot everything from a bb gun to a 30 odd 6.

I already posted a question including this handgun with some others. This question is what is your opinion on their handguns in comparison with the others.. Glock, HK, Beretta etc.. Where does FN fit in?

Sold the big .357 and now I'm going to get an auto. Having kids around and a point and click gun makes me nervous (no comments about kids and guns, I understand they need to be locked up). A semi seems slightly more safe, at least there's strength involved in getting the thing loaded.

That said, I want ONE handgun (along with my locked up shotgun). 9mm and I've narrowed it down, but please let me know if you have any other opinions. The other things I need are manual safety or de-cocker, and not TOO big, prefer compact.

Here's the list:
Beretta PX4 Storm, FNH 9, Smith M&P, Walther P99, Beretta 92FS (I know this one's a bit big). CZ P-01 (I had one of these once, great gun)

Especially give me your opinion on the FN, I've haven't done a lot of research on these. Respected handgun?

Any other opinions? I was leaning towards the PX4. What do you guys think??
@HC

Good point. Are you referring to an XD?
Yes, I've thought of a gun vault. Part of the reason for selling the revolver is also just having something new to shoot. But the revolver always made me a little nervous.

I'm about to have a baby and I'm going to trade in my GP-161 for something I feel, is a little safer. Not a gun collector but do need that one handgun (plus my locked up shotgun)

Of course I'll keep it in a safe but a pull of the trigger and boom scares the crap out of me with a child around. At least with a pistol there is some work involved in figuring out how to use it.

SO, I'm looking at a couple pistols. The Beretta 92FS, The Beretta PX4 storm, CZ 75 (I've owned one of these so it's not as exciting for me), Walther P99 or the Smith M&P (9mm)

Out of these, what do you think?

Also I was looking at the new Ruger SR9? I haven't been a big fan of Ruger Auto's but this one's new.
No Mountain Man. Justin is a man's name. I didn't say I was going to give birth. I said I was having a baby. Put down the Coors light.

I want to buy a new handgun but I can't decide which one between the Taurus PT 1911 or the Beretta PX4 Storm in 40 cal. Does anyone own any of these handguns or both? I need some opinions to help me make decision. The main reason to buy one is for self defense.

Preference to the design Beretta M9 or Colt M1911

Note i do want to be able to attach a silencer

which is the only place i've seen it, what other models and calibers of handguns do you know of that can take an extended (20 rd, 30 rd) magazine?

I'm trying to decide between the Beretta 92fs and the Springfield XDm.
I know that the XDm holds 19 compared to the 15 that the Beretta holds, but I'm trying to get opinions on which is the better gun.

Smith & Wesson
Glock
Beretta
Rossi

I've seen MSRP on beretta.com. What can I expect to pay for a new handgun at a major retailer such as Sportsman's Warehouse?

I am wondering what some of the most Accurate and Inaccurate Pistols are...

I was going to ask "Is it the Gun, or the Shooter?" But Reconsidered ebcause a Professional Experienced shooter with a GOOD Pistol can be a better shot than one with a Pistol that sucks (Beretta 92FS vs. Hi-Point Saturday Night Special kind of thing)

So.... WHich is which? Thanks!

Im starting to get into the Glocks, Berettas, and SIGs (Not so much but a little, thats a Police Gun, the P226) -- and I always have wondered about the Colt "Series 70" 1911s and the Rugers, some people looove Ruger P90s some thing Ruger is a POS... ?????

I am going to buy a pistol for home defense and I was wondering what my best choice would be. I fired off several at a shooting range including a Glock 19, and a Beretta, and my favorite was the Glock. Is this a good choice? What would you recommend?

i really dont need another 9mm handgun but is 500 a good price for a 92fs? i currently have a ruger p85 for a 9mm pistol. not too fancy i know. beretta comes with 3 clips. whats your thoughts?

Which 9mm handgun is better in terms of accuracy, reliability, and overall performance?
Between these two, which would you choose?

Looking for reliability and only in a rimfire round handgun. Not looking for a Buckmark, Ruger Mark III, etc.-- great guns but too "targety." Something like a Beretta Bobcat or Taurus, but I'm concerned about their reliablity (or lack thereof). Revolver or auto is OK. Old is fine too, but the smaller, the lighter, and the more reliable, the better. What to look for?

I'm most interested in these ten. I am looking for something that carries at least 15 rounds, is lightweight, easy to conceal, and is made of excellent quality for a price that won't make me go broke.
Please rank from best to worst.

1. Glock-19
2. FNP-9
3. Sig P-250
4. Springfield XD-9
5. Ruger SR-9
6. Walther PPS
7. Smith & Wesson M&P-9
8. Taurus 24/7 PRO
9. Beretta 92fs
10. Beretta Px4 Storm
Which is most accurate

Hi,

What is a really good airsoft handgun? i want one that i dont always have to like..*chuk chuk* shoot.sorry idk how to explain that..i want the handgun to be able to shoot byitself.not automatic like a machine gun.like semi auto or something.1 shot and i dont have to do the *chuk chuk*.just keep shooting until the bullets are gone. I how the berettas look and desert eagles. can you tell me good handguns that are airsoft? everything about the gun please. thanks alot. (sorry im new to guns)
Also i do not want to shoot anyone. no gun fights. just shooting objects. i dont need a gun thats high priced.maybe under $50 would be good.

Based on your recommendations, here is the list that I came up with so far:

Sig P250
Ruger SR9/P95
Glock 17, 19 (C)
Springfield XD-9/XD-M
Beretta 92FS, 90two
CZ 75 and variants
FNP9
Taurus Millennium Pro
S&W Sigma

Does anyone have any objections with this list? Are there any that I should add or subtract? If so, why?

I'm torn between the Beretta Px4 and the 90-Two. Does anybody have any good reasons for one over the other? And please don't answer this question with "Berettas are crap" or something like that.

i recently purchased springfield xdm as my first handgun. i love it. only have a couple hundred rounds in it. this weekend i am purchasing a beretta 92fs.
in a couple weeks i am taking my conceal and carry course and then i will be able to carry in minnesota. i was wondering if you guys had any thoughts on a good gun for carrying? im kinda looking at the springfield sub-compact or maybe the walther pps. also, anyone have a crossbreed iwb holster? ive heard good things about them and will probably be purchasing one unless i hear otherwise.

Im 27 and i want to purchase a REAL Glock (seems there are more than Beretta, and cost is an issue.) I have a replica G18c BB Gun, it doesnt shoot real bullets and i actually have to go get some BBs and Propane. when i get $250 for an old G17 (G19 or really whatever is for sale,) Id like to take a Gun Safety class and go shooting at the range.

I may have asked this before, but i ask:

1) Do ranges look at 27 year olds like me like we have alterior motives? Or do we not care and is that jus tme, being from a state that is trying to ruin Gun Laws for the whole country (and doing a semieffective job at it?)

2) Will the gun range do a criminal background check on me? Or am i a customer that is there to shoot and take instruction?

3) Anything else i need to know about: 1) Gun Laws, 2) Ranges, or 3) the weapons i can find off SwapGiant.com and buy Private Sale (within my state im over 21 i show my ID they write it all doen and thats it?)

Thanks.

I just bought a Beretta 9000s .40. Shot it the other day and it seemed to be firing really low, and to the left. It has the stock, fixed white-dot sights on it. Everybody i have to talked to said these are really accurate guns, so i know its just gotta be something wrong with mine. I am getting trijicon night sights put on it here in the next week, but would like to know whats going on. I'm a rifleman. Just got into centerfire handguns, and don't know much about them. Are my sights bent or something?

(P.S. If you would like some pics of it just shoot me an e-mail)

There have been more and more break ins and robberies In the apartment complex I live in. Since I work night shift and am home during the day (when most of these break in's and robberies generally occur) I was thinking about buying a handgun. I'm looking for something with stopping power so, I was looking at maybe a CZ 75 9mm or a Glock 20 10mm or a Beretta 96 Elite II .40 cal, anyway let me know what you think would be a good one.

glock or beretta or ?
excuse me let me rephrase: which handgun do u prefer? my apologies.

Like, I know a .12 gauge shotgun is more powerful than a .20 gauge one, but what is being measured by that decimal number? And when my stepson came over this past weekend and wanted to show me his 9mm handgun, how can I, numerically, compare his gun with my .40 Beretta semi-automatic, or my .357 magnums or .22 magnum. Is there a website that can easily explain all this, or can someone here on Answers help me with it. I know which guns are more powerful than others, more by reputation than by actual comparison of "gauges" or whatever. What I'm wanting here is to understand the numbering systems used. I'd appreciate your help.

ok im going into the Army and i know standard issue is the M9 Beretta but im thinking i want .45 ACP like a MK23, USP or 1911 but i like to be able to mount a flashlight or laser or LAM type of unit on it. which pistol, from my list or you own thoughts, is a good reliable and accurate pistol. btw the gun needs to be NATO approved

other info:
i am 25U but i want to re class and re-test in 2 years and try for SF or Sniper, Ranger, etc ie something a little bit more

anything related to weapons in general ie military laws about buying weapons and things like that are also helpful
if u have a suggestion for a weapon i would like to have a rationalle behind it plz thx
no peace loving hippie answers either and serious answers please

I am thinking of buying a gas air soft handgun I have narrowed it down to either the Beretta M9 or P226 the problem is I don't know what make I should choose or which one i should get, I am looking for Precision and how realistic the gun looks, Any suggestions?

Please tell me what you think of this, I worked hard on making it sound real and genuine. Remember, it's just the opening so I still have alot more to do. But I'll post some more tomorrow. Thanks.

DIE HARD 5

Opening Credits
Fade In:
Ext. New York Skyline- Dawn

The city stands in the morning daybreak; distant at first. Sirens can be heard from miles away as we move closer to the landmark buildings and structures. After a few beats, the noise dims to almost silence.

Ext. Times Square- Intersections/Sidewalks

Cars and taxis lag behind one another in heaps of slow moving traffic, as thousands of civilians scurry and dominate sidewalks and crosswalks on route to their homes or work. Other travelers are seen entering/exiting storefronts carrying plastic shopping bags, while the accasional smokers sit on benches puffing their lives away or talking on cellphones. On the corner, the usual street venders attempt to stop people walking buy with the tentalizing aroma of their newest ‘product’. A fairly basic day in the Big Apple.
Cut:

Ext. New Jersey Street- House

A decent-looking bricked house surrounded by a low-level fence. We see a parked blue SUV in the driveway, four-door. On the opposite side rests a grey Toyota Tundra. Some neighborhood kids are exiting their homes with backpacks and heading for the bustop for school. They chat exitedly as they walk, friendly.

Int. Upstairs Bedroom

Sunlight sneaks through a bedroom window, illuminating the shadows more clearly. As we pan across the room, we stop at a nightstand with an alarm clock, digital, sitting atop it. It reads 8:29 am—then changes to 8:30 as music suddenly comes on; It’s My Life by Bon Jovi. Grunts are heard nearby, followed by a hand coming into view and trying to turn off the clock, to no avail.

Voice- (tired, annoyed)- Ah…shi-What in hell is that shit? Fucking hate Jovi…

The voice is of a man laying in bed, apparently trying to sleep. He finally presses the snooze alarm, but the whole device falls off the table to the floor, nearly-broken. At least the song stopped. Hearing this, he slowly gets up with his back turned to us and picks up the radio/clock to check it, then sets it back where it belongs. Groggy, he stands up wearing a faded white tank-top and dark slacks, and walks to the bathroom. Back still turned.

Int. Table- Pictures

As he passes a table, we notice some framed pictures lined up next to each other of a family; a mother, daughter and son. The son and daughter seem to be in their late teens, both with dark hair. The mother looks slightly middle-aged with brown hair and wearing a sweater. They look somewhat happy in the photos. Assumingly, this must be people the man knows very well. Next to the photos lie some framed awards of some importance, but the details of them are hard to see in the dark light. One could read from the Department of National Security.

Int. Bathroom Mirror.

The man enters and turns on the sink faucet, but we only see his mid, somewhat-muscular, torso. As he picks up a red toothbrush and sqeezes toothpast onto it, we pan up just in time as he brings it up to his mouth to reveal…John Mcclane, late-forties, gently brushing his teeth with some paste dripping from his lips. He smirks at this, leans down to spit it out, then raises his head back up to the mirror and looks at himself briefly.

Mcclane-(calmly to himself) Yeah, john. Treat everyday like it’s your last. But don’t kill yourself over fuckin toothpaste. (laughs)

Closing the mirror, he walks out with a towel over his shoulder.

Int. Table

Noticing the photos, Mcclane goes up to the table and picks one up…the family one. Looking at it, he smiles then puts it down and walks away. On the other side, we see various items from his department; his NYPD gold-plated badge, along with his 9mm Beretta handgun, the 12-round clip laying beside it. Now the awards seem clear; they’re Mcclane’s. The DNS award reads; The Department of National Security awards New York City Detective John Mcclane for his heroic display of incredible courage and bravery in the prevention of the hostage situation that took place at Nakatomi Co. on December 24th, 1988 in Las Angeles, California. We thank him sincerely, and hope that further events can be avoided due to many innocent civilians lives that were lost on that evening. We forever acknoweledge your insparation to every law enforcement in this country. Dated 2-21-89.

So?
Well, thanks for the responses at least, LOL. Anyway, I purposely didn't start the script with action cause I wanted to sorta use the Die Hard 2 formula a little....where Mcclane is seen going about his day but encounters the situation on almost-accident. You know, I felt that this way by describing him in his home, that it would be more proper than just throwing in some action. Sorry, I just wanted some character moment, LOL. I'll post part 2 today, so come back!

/related, what are the basic laws for handguns in canada? and again, would I be able to buy a pair of beretta 92's in canada? what would the cost be like?

I've decided instead of a motorcycle, I'm going to buy a handgun. I go to the range and shoot a lot with friends, so I'd like to get my own. I like the Beretta 96, because it's a gun im familiar with. What's the cheapest ammo to shoot? Whatever gun I buy, I want to the ammo to be as cheap as possible, as I don't want money to limit my shooting. I would consider any handgun bigger than .25CAL What's the cheapest ammo (price per bullet would be helpful but not necessary) Thanks!

Glock? H&K? Springfield XD9? Sig? Ruger? Beretta? Taurus? Doesnt matter whether its metal or polymer framed i just want the BEST somethin that is reliable. Any other brands im open to but i want the overall BEST

What makes these handguns unique? What are your experiences with Beretta handguns? How reliable are they?

im looking to get a gun... for target practice. or is there a cheaper but same quality gun if so whats the website?

i'm about to invest in a handgun for personal defense and the type caliber i've decided to carry is the .40 s&w. i decided to go with this caliber for the following reasons and i want some feedback on my decision as well as your personal opinion on this particular caliber.

1.50% more power than a 9mm, and most .40 rounds have more power than a "standard" power .45acp round.

2.pretty good capacity.(the beretta i'm getting holds 14 in the mag)

3. 70% of american police agencies carry a .40 as their duty pistol

4. ammo is cheaper than a .45acp(thats not a knock against the .45 acp, just stating facts)

5.recoil is not excessive at all for most people (definitely not for me i'm 5'11 and a half, 250 plus)

holla at me with the feedback
